Ugh. I just had the stupidest call in the world agh. I work in customer service and I seriously am surprised by how dumb people are at least a couple times per week! I mean, they just demand the world and expect us (or rather the company) to just pick up the tab and go along with it. They forget this is a place of business and I am just a messenger and it's BUSINESS! We can't be giving away money like we aren't in a recession! So, I ask of you all when/if you happen to make a call to a customer service number, please don't shoot the messenger and be reasonable. (thank you!)
Hope your mornings have been better than mine. At least it's Friday and I'll be free in less than 6 hours...
On a happy note: One week from today --- New Moon! Can't wait!!

I'm not a fan of cooking but I force myself to do so during the week at least. I made chicken enchiladas today – yummy deliciousness.
I'm about to go continue my Dexter marathon. If you haven’t seen it, you MUST, it’s too good to miss.

This weekend I visited my parents, explored a city we’re considering moving to, visited his family, did some needed house cleaning and had a lunch date with a friend. She took me to a Peruvian place called Inka Grill. I tried a dish called Saltado, I had all the ingredients before but never prepared like this, it was delicious. They had a green sauce that smelled of yummy garlic but tasted like nothing I’ve had before; I have to go back soon!
(The one I had had roasted tomato too)
We did some shopping too and I found this gorgeous fringe mini. It was a too big and I
would never take it to a tailor, so I left it behind :(

Interracial couple denied marriage license in Tangipahoa ParishMore proof that we haven't come as far as some like to
claim. As 1/2 of an interracial couple I am totally dismayed by this. I
cannot believe this has been going on for years and it's finally coming to the
surface. Why did the other couples accept his denial? They should have fought
back. I hope he gets fired!
A Louisiana justice of the peace said he refused to
issue a marriage license to an
interracial couple out of concern for any children the couple might
have. Keith Bardwell, justice of the peace in Tangipahoa Parish, says it is
his experience that most interracial marriages do not last long.
"I'm not a racist. I just don't believe in mixing the races that way," Bardwell told the Associated Press on Thursday. "I have piles and piles of black friends. They
come to my home, I marry them, they use my bathroom. I treat them just like
everyone else.
On to better things, we made it through another week! The sun is back and I'm kind of glad because I have a lot of running around to do this weekend, so the sunny skies are welcome. Hope you all have an awesome weekend.♥B
